Description
This Is The Case Design For My Science And Engineering Fair Project. We Constructed Biomimetic Firefly Robots To Be Worn On The User'S Head. This Case Has Slots For A Nylon Strap To Be Threaded Through, Much Like A Bike Helmet. It Features A Main Piece And Lid To Allow The User To Place The Robot Inside And Access It When Needed. At The Moment Its Primary Method Of Closing Is With A Rubber Band - See The Groove On The Middle Top And Bottom To Guide The Rubber Band. However, I Also Made A Cut Out For A Screw And Nut To Hold The Lid More Securely. There Are Also Guiding Bump Outs On The Main Piece As Well As A Wide Peg To Make Sure The Lid Fits Securely And Consistently. Finally, There Is A Slot For An Antenna To Be Placed To Prevent Too Much Movement, Which Causes Radio Interference.
