Magellan RoadMate Replacement GPS Mounting Base
Description
The Suction Cup Mount For My Magellan Rv9165T-Lm Roadmate Gps Busted So I Was Looking For Another Way To Mount It. I Decided To Model It After The Dashmount For An Old Ique3600 Palm Pilot / Gps. This Is The Result. It Utilizes The Original Gps Mount And The Attached Ball-Jointed Arm, Along With The Original Toothed Inserts. This Is Assembled Like So: Bolt > Mount > Washer > Insert > Arm > Insert > Washer > Mount > Nut Once The Nut Is Tightened The Arm Is Locked In Position. You Can Then Either Mount The Base To The Dash With Double Sided Adhesive And/Or Self Tapping Screws. I Left The Screw Holes Small So That You Can Drill Them Out To The Size Needed If You Decide To Go That Way. --- *Another Sketchup Model - Debunking The Myth That Sketchup Is Useless In 3D Printing*
