Handle spare for Kenwood kMix kettle
Description
Replacement For Broken Handle. Printed In Pc-Max To Withstand Heat. The Push Button Is Pla, It'S Not Close To The Kettle Body, So It Won'T Get That Warm. This Is Not An Exact Replica Of The Original Part, But Designed To Be Printed Without (Or With Minimal) Supports. Finished By Sanding. To Install The Button, Make Sure It'S Aligned With The Grooves Inside The Hole And Just Push It In. Do This Before Installing The Handle To The Boiler And Check It Moves Freely. If Not, Scale Down The Button (X/Y-Direction) A Bit And Reprint. Note: When Slicing, Make Sure To Rotate The Handle 4° Around The X-Axis So It Lies Flat Against The Bed. I Had To Change The Angle Of The Handle Late In The Process, And It Seems Impossible To Change The Bottom Plane In Fustion 360. Sorry About This. Also The Plate Underneath The Screw Holes Is Just A Hack To Override Supports In Slic3Rpe. It Enables You To Use The "Supports From Build Plate Only"-Functionality Without Generating Unnecessary Supports For The Holes. It'S Probably Not Relevant If You Use Some Other Slicer.
