Update 6/29/2018 - I'Ve Added A Small Lip Inside The Bearing Cutout. The Outer Ring Of The Bearing Will Rest On This Small Lip So That The Inner Ring Will Not Touch The Plastic. The Spool Holder Spins Much More Freely Now. I'Ve Added An Option For A "Hollow Body". Set The New Variable, Bodytype, To 2 For A Hollow Body. Set It To 1 For The Regular Body. The Hollow Body Has Extra Cutouts In The Center Body. Why? I Thought It Was An Interesting Look And Reduces Weight A Little More. Why? Eh. Why Not. I'Ve Changed The Defaults A Little. The Default Body Type Is The Regular Full Center Body (Bodytype=1). I'Ve Updated All The Stls So That It Includes This Lip. I'Ve Also Created Stls For The New Body Type. ---------------------------------------- Update 6/28/2018 - I'Ve Updated The Openscad File To Add Some More Customizations. The Number Of Arms, The Thickness Of The Arms, And The Type Of Arms (Full Or Thin) Can Be Specified. Thin Arms Will Be More Flexible And Use Less Filament. Full Arms Will Be Stronger. I'Ve Changed The Defaults A Little. The Default Minimum Diameter Is 28, Arm Thickness Is Now 3, And Arm Type 2 (Thin). ---------------------------------------- 6/27/2018 - This Customizable Spool Holder Is Relatively Light. Its Stable With 2 Bearings. Can Specify Max Diameter (Default 30), Min Diameter (Default 80), Height (Default 30), Bearing Size (Default 22 X 7), And Rod Thickness (Default 8.5). Make Sure The Minimum Diameter Is Greater Than The Bearing Diameter. This Spool Holder Will Require 2 X 608Zz Bearings. Print 2 Of These, A Couple Washers (Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:193647) , And Some Rod Clamps (Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2929576). The Default Rod Thickness Is 8.5Mm, Which Is Good For An 8Mm Rod. The 608Zz Bearing Has An 8Mm Center Hole. You Will Need An 8Mm Washer And The Linked Rod Clamps Are For 8Mm Rods. You Will Of Course Need An Appropriate Rod And Rod Holder.
