Prusa i3 MK3 X Carriage Strain Relief
Description
After A Few Months Of Service, I Got A Random And Intermittent "Err: Print Fan Error" On My Prusa I3 Mk3. After Some Head Scratching, I Found That One Conductor Of The Fan Wires Had Broken Off Inside The Insulation Due To Repeat Bending Just Behind The Support That Juts Out The Back Of The X Carriage. After Patching The Offending Length Of Wire, I Designed And Printed This Strain Relief In Ninjatek Semiflex In Hopes Of Preventing This From Happening Again. It Is Super Easy To Install - Just Cut Three Tie Wraps, Slide This In Place, And Re-Install The Three Tie Wraps Along With One Extra One At The Very End. The Strain Relief Was Designed To Get Thinner And Thinner Towards One End In Order To Form A Gradual Bend. Some Of The Very Thinnest Section May Not Print Well Due To Being Too Thin.
