This Is A Flexible Perovskite Structure To Play With And Learn About Structural Distortions. The Model Was Inspired By The 3D Printed Perovskite Tilt Systems Used By Prof. Mike Glazer In His 2017 Bragg Lecture (His Models Can Be Found At Http://Www.Amg122.Com/3Dprinting/). This Is A Modular Kit So The Final Structure Can Be As Big As You Like. For A Basic Unit Cell You Need The Following: 48 X Atom_Middle 24 X Atom_End 16 X Octahedron_Half In Order To Assemble The Perovskite Structure You Further Need: 1. Elastic Cord (E.G. Https://Www.Amazon.Co.Uk/Gp/Product/B00Fnuft8K/Ref=Oh_Aui_Detailpage_O01_S00?Ie=Utf8&Psc=1) 2. (Super) Glue 3. Tweezers Or Vice To Hold The Elastic Cord Tight While Tying Knots The Assembly Process For A Single Unit Cell Is Simple: 1. Glue Together 24 X Atom_Middle 2. Glue Together 16 X Octahedron_Half 3. Thread The Elastic Cord Through Atom_Middle + Glued Octahedron + Glued Atom_Middle + Glued Octahedron + Atom_Middle And Make A Knot At Each End. 4. Glue Atom_End Onto Each Atom_Middle To Complete A Quarter Of The Structure 5. Repeat 1-4 To Thread Together The Parts Into A Single Unit Cell
