The Theoretical Pelton Wheel
Description
This Is A Basic Demonstration Of A Pelton Wheel Commonly Used Inside Of Impulse-Turbine Engines. Try Blowing On The Buckets At Different Angles And Heights To Find Out Where Exactly Stream Flow Is Most Efficient! Be Careful When Printing This As The Bucket-Wheel (Peltonwheelbuckets.Stl) Is Made To Be Particularly Difficult To Print In Order To Double As A Torture Test For How Well You'Ve Calibrated Your Printer. Some Assembly Is Required Once All Parts Have Been Printed And If You Don'T Like My Bearings (Bearing.Stl) Then I'M Sure You Can Always Find Better Ones Out There On Thingiverse :). This File Will Test: -Bed Leveling -Thin Wall Section -Maximum Overhang Angle Capabilities -Stringing Effects This Print Was Originally Completed In Formfutura Standard Pla With A 0.6Mm Nozzle Although For The Best Quality, I Suggest Using 0.4Mm Nozzle Settings.
