This Frame Will Keep The Galaxy Together. If You Are Playing On Slick Table, You Can Even Drag/Slide The Whole Galaxy Around As If It Was A Single Board. The Fit Is Snug But It Does Not Damage The Hexes (Of Course) The Pieces Are 2Mm Thick, About The Same Thickness Of The Cardboard Hexes This Is For Twilight Imperium 4Th Edition (I Understand The Hexes In 3Rd Edition Are Smaller) I You Want The Frame For 3Rd Edition Maybe Try [Thing 2224531](Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2224531). You Need 6 Copies Of Each Part. (You Will End Up With 12 Pieces In Total) I Have Seen Many Variants Of This Frame In The Interwebs. I Don'T Claim To Be The Idea Man. Update 2019-05-26 I'Ve Learnt A Few Things Since I First Published This Frames And I Was Able To Improve The Design. The Pieces Should Now Link Together Better Than They Did Originally I Have Also Added 2 Small Pieces That You Can Print To Tests Out How They Fit Together And Tune In Your Printer Accordingly. There One More Small Frame Piece You Can Print. If You Print 6 Of Those Alongside The Other Ones, You Could Accommodate For A 4-Ring Galaxy, Something I Have Been Told Could Be A Thing When Expansions Come Out.
