Ver. 1 - "Leave-in-place" Bean funnel & Plug for Zassenhaus Box Coffee Mill
Description
Anyone With Any Familiarity With Zassenhaus' Box Coffee Grinders Knows That Their "Half-Moon" Opening Can Be Frustratingly Tiny To Easily Add Coffee Beans Through. This Funnel Is Meant To Partly Improve The Experience Of Adding Beans To The Grinder, Though I Can Envision Further Iterations Focused On Extending Further The Outline Of The Funnel. I Designed The Funnel To Have A Very Close Fit To The Zassenhaus' "Half-Moon" Opening, So Any Minor Tilt When Attaching Or Removing It Can Cause It To Hang Up. But That'S Ok As I Wanted This To Function As A "Leave-In-Place" Funnel That Is Left On The Zassenhaus Both During Grinding And In Storage. The Funnel Sits Deep Into The Grinding Chamber And Engages Along Its Entire Perimeter, Improving The Funnel'S Stability. This Is Important To Its "Leave-In-Place" Design As One Wouldn'T Want The Grinder Arm To Hit The Funnel. To Aid In That There Is Plenty Of Clearance To Avoid The Grinder Arm - The Top Of The Funnel Sits Lower Than The Top Of The Knurling On The Zassenhaus' Adjustment Nut. (In Fact It Even Clears The Top Of The Plug'S Handle, Even Though The Plug Is Meant Only For Storage.) Note: I'Ve Since Spun A New Version With A "Backstop" To Help Corral Errant Beans...
