Description
This Is A Mount And Fan Shroud That Allows The Direct Extrusion Style Installation Of A Flexion Single Ht Extruder/Hot-End (Should Work For The Non Ht Version As Well) To A Tronxy X5S Printer Using The Original Mounting Hardware And Fans That Come Stock With The Tronxy X5S. Installation Tips: - Place 3Mm Nuts Inside The Nut Shaped Indentions On The Inner Wall Of The Left Side Of The Printed Mount. - Install The Printed Mount Onto The Gantry System Of The Tronxy X5S Using Original Hardware. - Place The Flexion Aluminum Heat Sink Block In The Lower Indent Of The Printed Mount. - Remove The Tronxy X5S Extruder Stepper Motor From Frame And Place It In The Upper Indent Of The Printed Mount. - Run The 3Mm Bolts That Came With The Flexion Extruder Through The Top Holes On The Left Side Of The Printed Mount And Screw Them Into The Stepper Motor. (The Bolts Should Go Through The Printed Mount And Aluminum Heat Sink Block Before Threading Into The Stepper Motor) - Stick The Flexion Ht Hot End Assembly (Nozzle, Heat Block, And Heat Break Should Come Assembled) Up Through The Hole In The Bottom Of The Printed Mount And Into The Groove Of The Aluminum Heat Sink Block, Align With Best Clearance Of The Fan Shroud And Tighten The 3Mm Bolt On The Heat Sink. - Thread 3Mm Bolts Up Through The Holes In The Bottom Of The Printed Mount Directly Into The Aluminum Heat Sink Block. - Bolt The 40Mm Heat Sink Fan That Came Stock On The Tronxy X5S Into The Bottom Holes On Left Side Of The Mount Using 3Mm Bolts And Thread Them Into The Nuts That Were Placed In The Grooves Of The Printed Mount Earlier. - Place The 40Mm Part Cooling Blower Fan That Came Stock With The Tronxy X5S In The Fan Shroud In The Bottom Right Side Of The Printed Mount. Use Small Screws That Came With Tronxy X5S To Fasten It Down In The Holes On The Top Side Of The Blower Fan. - Screw The Limit Switch Into Place On The End Of The "Arm" That Sticks Out Of The Back Left Side Of The Printed Mount Using Small Screws That Came With The Tronxy X5S - Install The Thermistor And Heater Core Into The Flexion Heat Block. I Had To Reverse The Stepper Motor Direction In The Marlin Firmware And Recalibrate Steps/Mm. I Am Currently Using 90 Steps/Mm For Abs With Great Success.
