Makerfarm Y-Axis Endplate for i3v 10" with Belt Tensioner
Description
**Update 10/4/2019** See Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:3897503 For An Update Of This Design Using 2020 V-Slot For The Front Plate Instead Of Plastic. This Is A Remix Of The Y-Axis Front End Plate For The Makerfarm Prusa 10" I3V Printer. This Is Much Easier To Adjust The Tension Than The Previous Version. You Will Need To Change The 2-M5X12Mm Bolts To 2-M5X20Mm Bolts To Connect The V-Slot. I Used An M5X35Mm Screw And Nut For The Screw That Tightens The Belt Tensioner. If Your Belt Is Not Too Short, You Could Probably Use A Bit Shorter Screw. In Designing This It Looked Like The Screw Would Miss The Belt, But After Printing It Seemed Pretty Close For A Longer Screw. I Did Make The Gap Another 1Mm Bigger For What I Am Uploading. I Used An M5X25Mm Screw With Locknut To Hold The Idler In Place. I Used The Plastic Pin **M5X9_6Mm.Stl** To Position The Split Idler Assembly In Place & Then Pushed M5X25Mm Screw Thru Pushing The Plastic Pin Out While The Screw Went Thru The Assembly. There Are 3 Photos Showing How That Was Done. I Also Used 2 Plastic M5 Washers Instead Of Metal Ones, But You Can Use Metal Ones If You Want. The Plastic Ones Are **M5X10Mmx1Mm_4X_Washer.Stl** I Printed These At 40% Infill Using The Gyroid Infill Of The Slic3R Prusa Edition. I Added The **Disc20_4X.Stl** To The Wide Print Of The **Y-Axis_Frontplateslidebracket_10_Rev43.Stl**. I Add As A Separate Part Rather Than Combining To The Front Plate As It Seems To Cut Off Easier For Me. This Front Plate Does Not Flex At All Now.
