Design Challenge: Design A Biodegradable Forcep That Is Inexpensive, Laser Cut, And Can Pick Up A Single Poppy Seed. Justification: Could Be Used For Removing Ticks After Extending Time In Wooded Areas During Activities Such As Hiking Or Field Biology. Design Features: Angled Tips Allow For Localized Alignment Of Tip. Material Used Allowed For Flexibility. Additional Hole Cut In Center To Allow For The Creation Of A Tag (With Optional Addition Of Text) As To Avoid Wasting Materials. Example Depicted Was Cut On A Glowforge Using 1/8 Inch (3Mm) Particle Board / Plywood. “Forcep” File Contains Single Copy Of Displayed Design In .Svg Format. “Forcepgrouped” File Contains Array Of 16 Tweezers That Fit On A Square Foot Of Board In .Svg Format. Such An Arrangement Would Allow For Optimal Printing In Large Quantities, Such As 512 Cutouts On A 4 By 8 Foot Board.
