(PIR) Proximity Mine
Description
After being Inspired by one of my favorite games, Goldeneye 007 (N64), the PIR video by John Park, and the MAKERBOT Contest, I came up with the idea of combining one of Goldeneye\'s weapons with the PIR sensor circuit, and the result was this \"PIR Proximity Mine.\" I designed it in 3DS Max, using standard measurement units (feet/inches). The Center \"bulb\" is the PIR sensor which I did a little math to cut out a hole in the housing to allow the sensor through. The 4 red Leds surrounding the PIR are fitted into holes cut for 5mm LEDs. Basically this is a project housing for the PIR sensor/arduino circuit. Forget those boring square motion sensors in your house, Imagine having this intimidating sensor installed on your wall! The 5mm LED\'s can be power or status lights of how much movement is being detected. -Designed for the MAKERBOT contest. First file (proximity_myne) is for the nice render, second file, proximity, contains screw holes to secure the base and top cover together.
