Prusa Mendel wooden printbed - Aachen edition
Description
We created 10 RepRap Prusa Mendel 3D-printers at a workshop[1] in Aachen. The workshop was hosted by the FabLab Aachen[2] of the Media Computing Group and supervised by many helpers, including Josef Prusa. Since we included a PCB Heatbead Mk1 [3], we had to modify the design for the "print plates"... the design was also used at the workshop in Maastricht (for 10 more RepRap Prusa Mendel printers). The parts replace the following (listed in the Prusa Mendel BOM[4]): 225mm×225mm print top plate 140mm×225mm print bottom plate [1]: http://hci.rwth-aachen.de/masterclass_3dprinter_18022011 [2]: http://fablab.rwth-aachen.de [3]: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3919 [4]: http://www.reprap.org/wiki/Prusa -> Non-Printed Parts ("vitamins")
