Spartan Lambda Hoplon (Shield)

Description

A shield inspired by the one used by the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae. This type of round shield is called a "Hoplon". It is from this word that the term "Hoplite" is derived. It has a Lambda (presumably for "Leonidas", their king) embossed on the face.
