Scans And Stls Of Some Barnacles Found On A Seattle Beach. I Can'T Quite Say Why, But Lately I'Ve Been Interested In Barnacles, So I Decided To Stop Off At The Beach And Scan A Few. The Results Are Uploaded Here. Personally, I Think The Best Use For These - Apart From Admiring Their Form - Is To Carry A Pocketful And Some Double-Sided Tape And Stick Them Tastefully On Doorways And Secluded Corners As You Go About Your Everyday Affairs. Eventually Others Will Notice And Wonder What The Devil Is Going On - It'Ll Add A Nice Air Of Mystery And Romance To The Landscape And Enhance The Contrasting Lines Of The Inorganic Structures We Deal With Every Day. Warning: Sticking Them To Objects You Don'T Own May Be Considered Graffiti Or Vandalism, So Proceed With Caution And Don'T Break The Law. I Have Also Included The Original Scans - Feel Free To Make Your Own Versions Or Incorporate These Into Some Other Project. A Barnacle Encrusted Colbert, For Example.
