The Rationale Behind Doing This Is Because The Feeder Of Some Automatic Scanners Tends To Kick Small Paper Stacks Away; This Item Provides Enough Cross-Sectional Weight To Keep The Book Pages Or Small Paper Stacks Within Reach Of The Feeder.
