Vent fan adaptors for 25mm fan.
Description
Update 2. I Ended Up Using A 1"Id Hose. Part Number 5643K11 From Mcmaster-Carr. I Drilled Out The Holes In My Part(25Mm To 1In Tube) With A .070 Drill And My 2-56 Screws Pn 90272A088 Screwed Right Into It. I Drilled The Hole Pattern In Lexan With A 2.5Mm Drill For The Screws And I Used A 3/4" Drill To Hog Out The Hole To Slightly Less Than 1" So I Didn'T Need The 25Mm To 1In Hole Adaptor. Vent Fan Is 3Cfm And Seems To Blow Through 10Ft Of Hose With Little Problem. If I Wanted More Flow I Could Probabaly Put One On The Other End And Have It Suck Air Out. When My Printer Is Fully Enclosed I Think That Is All I'Ll Need To Vent The Printer And Keep The Office Fume Free. I Didn'T Need A Hose Clamp. One Part Is To Adapt A 25Mm Square Fan To A 1" Hole. It'S Expensive To Find A 24.5 Mm Drill(The Hole Size For A 25Mm Fan), And 1" Is Larger Than 25 Mm So You Would Have Air Leaking. If You Want To Mount A 25Mm Fan To A 1" Hole With Almost No Leaks, Use This Adaptor. Another Part Is To Adapt A 25Mm Square Fan To Blow Air Into Or Suck Air Out Of A 1/2" Id(Inner Diameter) Hose(You May Need To Do Both Depending On Length And Curves In Hose). Use A Hose Clamp To Secure The Hose. You Would Need 2-54 Screws And Nuts Another Part Is To Adapt A 25Mm Square Fan To Blow Air Into Or Suck Air Out Of A 3/4" Id(Inner Diameter) Hose(You May Need To Do Both Depending On Length And Curves In Hose). Use A Hose Clamp To Secure The Hose. You Will Need To Drill Out The 4 Holes With A .070 Drill Then The 2-56 Screws Will Screw Right In To The Plastic. Another Part Is To Adapt A 25Mm Square Fan To Blow Air Into Or Suck Air Out Of A 1" Id(Inner Diameter) Hose(You May Need To Do Both Depending On Length And Curves In Hose). Use A Hose Clamp To Secure The Hose. You Will Need To Drill Out The 4 Holes With A .070 Drill Then The 2-56 Screws Will Screw Right In To The Plastic. Use Them Together Or Separately. Small Holes Are 3Mm. They Are Arranged In A Square 20Mm On A Side. Update, The Walls On The Original Files Are Too Thin To Print. I Made The Walls Thicker And Uploaded The New Files And Deleted The Old Files. 8/26/13. I Didn'T Get Much Airflow From A 3 Cfm Fan Through The 1/2" Output. I'M Experimenting With A 3/4" And 1" Output Hole.
