FPV Frog - FPV Drone Pod

FPV Frog - FPV Drone Pod

Description

Designed for: - Every standard drone frame with 30,5 x 30,5 mm FC support. Can be used for all sizes >= 3 inch - runcam swift micro 2.3mm You need: - 4x M3 screws, length depends on your frame and spacers - 4x M3 hexagonal nuts Files contained - STL with text "FPV FROG" on the back - STL without text - NEW: STL of the 5" frame it is not for printig, but for carbon cut in 5mm - untestet: STL for 2.1mm without text Most motor shafts are higher than the pod. This means that the pod usually doesn't touch the environment in case of a crash. That's why the pod is easy to print in PLA. I fly with my 3" drone in the gym and the pod doesn't break. Weight is only about 8g. Cam angle is fix 45 degrees. TPU I cannot recommend, the space between the components is very small, so they could destroy each other in case of a crash. I recommend the following components. This makes a full featured build with telemetry, lua, osd and buzzer possible. You can use other parts, but they must be the same size or smaller. Should be very tight, otherwise use glue 3) insert the VTX into the back of the pod, directly over the antenna cable 4) insert the cam into the front of the pod and and screw it tight 5) use double sided tape to mount XSR ontop the FC 6) if you have a buzzer, use double sided tape to mount it on the back of the cam 7) solder all together 8) mount the pod directly ontop your FC. Keep all cables inside 9) insert the screws from the bottom of your frame. Watch out for the length If you want to have your craft name or call sign on the back of the pod, contact me!
