X4 racer

X4 racer

Description

I designed this little frame with the parts from the King Kong Q100 100mm micro fpv racing quadcopter. After receiving my king-kong Q100 I quickly realized that this will frame with all those components and placement of the battery just wasn't going to work with me especially since I had 3D printers. So was born the X4 racer, to give credit where credit is due the main frame came from this link in thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1831421 Although the frame has been heavily modified to strengthen the arms with an added battery mounts to mount the battery on the bottom side and also accommodate the F3 flight controller that comes with the King Kong 100 there's also enough room in front of the flight controller to mount the FRSky receiver between the flight controller and the fpv camera The flight controller the receiver the camera and the VTX are all been glued down with the "amazing goop" I used to use hot glue but I found this to be far more useful the only downside is the dry time but have found that the goop remains somewhat rubbery and flexible, it 'can' peel off of plastic when needed. With a 500mah battery and weighs in at 61.2g , isn't as light as I would like it to be but it's not horrible either it's a fantastic flyer with the F3 FC (running betaflight 3.2.2) I've also included a top without the cut out for the fpv camera in case someone wanted to fly as LOS The king-kong Q100 can be found here https://www.banggood.com/de/Kingkong-Q100-100mm-Micro-FPV-Racing-Quadcopter-Base-On-NZ32-Flight-Controller-DSM2Futaba-Receiver-p-1094122.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc_ods&utm_content=hsj&utm_campaign=de-ds-5.8g-fpv-ex&gclid=CjwKCAiAoqXQBRA8EiwAIIOWsup885CYLE16aUcBIPv4zrM_G72WH14WLgo1d3WXecSTiTGr2QRf-BoCQ_oQAvD_BwE&cur_warehouse=CN And the FRsky sbus receiver can be found here: https://www.banggood.com/de/AC800-D8-2_4G-8CH-CPPM-SBUS-Receiver-for-FrSky-X9D-X12S-X9E-Transmitter-p-1091691.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN
