Vauxhall Corsa D Parcel Shelf Strap Clips
Description
These are replacement clips for the parcel shelf strap on a Vauxhall/Opel Corsa D. There's the upper clip (the part that attaches to the hatchback boot lid) and a matching lower clip (the part that attaches onto the parcel shelf). These two parts, joined with some suitable cord (paracord works well) using the loops on the parts, form a complete replacement for the parcel shelf straps. The lower clip doesn't have spring tabs like the original parts do. Instead, there are two holes in the stem, into which you can slide a matchstick or similar to hold the clips in place (the matchstick may also need securing with glue of some sort). I used a panel pin (shown in one of the photos), and secured it in place with a little tape afterwards. It's not as elegant as the original part, but it's much more tolerant of worn holes in the parcel shelf.
