Description
This Thing Is A Bracket Used To Provide Enough Surface Area For Using A Double Adhesive Tape To Mount The Ir Sensor Against A Surface. The Ir Sensor From Adafruit (Http://Adafru.It/1031) Is Hollow At The Back, Which Makes It Unsuitable For Double-Adhesive-Based Mounting In Its Stock Configuration. A Scad File Is Provided For Changing Options To Adapt This Thing To A Sensor Of A Different Size. This Thing Was Designed For The Hackerspacesg Door Sensor (Https://Github.Com/Miccheng/Hsg-Door-Hack), Which Kept Drooping And Triggering Intermittently Due To Being Mounted Using Bluetack.
