Custom Speaker Cover Plates

Description

Custom Speaker Cover Plates
Something very handy for those that like to make their own stereo systems. I made these because I am creating battery powered stereos with bluetooth linking and wanted to give a few to friends - so the speaker covers have their initials. **If you have any ideas for logos/writing on a speaker cover just leave a comment or send me a message. I want to make some that many will want to print.**
Sizing
**Not all speakers are the same size** Measure in millimeters (mm). Everything I do is in Metric measurements. Use this link to covert your inches to millimeters - https://www.google.ca/search?q=inches+to+mm&rlz=1C1CHBF_enCA736CA736&oq=inches+to+mm&aqs=chrome..69i57j6j0l4.2055j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 You will need to do a little measuring and math to size these for you. **1 - **measure the distance between the center of your speaker bolt holes. Look at the images for help. **2 - **divide your speaker bolt distance by the number on your chosen STL file. Choose the STL that is closest to your measured distance. **3 - **in your slicing program you will need to use the Scale option and just type in the answer you found when doing Step 2. **example:** my speaker is 86mm from bolt to bolt, divide 86 by 108 (on the STL file) = 0.796 in my slicer program I select the scale option and type in 0.796. This resizes the file to the right size for my speaker. Now you have a perfectly sized speaker cover!
