E3D v6 Layer Fan Remix for Longer Block on MPSM

E3D v6 Layer Fan Remix for Longer Block on MPSM

Description

This remix pushes the clip openings back 2mm and the air outlet down 2mm to make sure the clips can securely connect to the e3d v6 mount and the outlet for the air doesn't touch the hotend. I also changed the slope of the clip arms so the touch the build plate. I just recently bought both a few E3D v6 clones as well as a genuine one. The main difference I noticed was that the genuine has a longer heat block than the clones (the genuine ones have updated in design). I originally used Toy's version, but with the genuine hotend both Rocket's and Toy's models touch the longer block when the sock is on. This causes the piece to melt in that spot and causes issues with prints because they can't get proper cooling. I've done a few tests with this remix so far and it works great. It's not lower than the nozzle so it doesn't get caught if you're using a glass bed, and like I said it isn't close enough to melt from touching the hotend. Do be warned. I opened the STL in Autodesk Maya to alter it, and Maya doesn't like STL files. It prints the same as the original or Toy's but just looks a little funky due to Maya importing the model. Lastly, the model is designed as the original to be printed as is with no supports. Also I'm still new to everything thingiverse so I cannot do any additional mods or upgrades.
