Soldering iron brass wool wipe adapter - Tenma Soldering Station
Description
I have a nice little Tenma solder station but it unfortunately comes with a sponge for wiping your iron tip. I'm not a huge fan of the wet sponge thing, and decided to try the brass wool option. I ordered a cheap Duratool (UK) iron stand with a pot of wool included (it was cheaper than just buying the wool), but hated the stand with a passion! I tried sitting the wool holder in the sponge tray but . . . . nah, it just slides around. So I quickly knocked up this adapter. It isn't fancy, it doesn't hug all the contours, you can stick it in any way around; you know what though, IT WORKS! That's good enough for me. So here it is. 'Cheers ta'!
