6-String SCAR Barrel
Description
Version 6 of my 6 string scar barrel. It has a 70mm barrel length with a 1/8th twist rate, great for worker darts. Sized for a 17/32 brass barrel, 16mm barrels, and 5/8" caliburn barrels. The inner diameter is similar to a 9/16 brass tube to channel air around the dart for accuracy and for the best velocity. I recommend using 0.35mm fishing line for the strings EDIT: The scar is now ported. Update 12/20/18: Now features a caliburn and 17mm OD barrel version Update 6/28/19: Now redesigned with a better fit, Added a 300 FPS version, and cosmetic shrouds for the 17/32 versions. Update 6/28/19: Now has a real 16mm version for various barrel and caliburns Update 1/20/21: Huh, it's been a minute. I finally got around to fix the tolerances for all the versions and make the 16mm and 5/8(Caliburn) barrels more print friendly. I've removed the twisted shrouds as they were VERY tolerance dependent. The current fit on the scars still is, it has a 0.2mm tolerance, but you can use tape to hold them down of you find it loose. Also, you can move the string over another notch to get a 1/4 twist, which I found helps accuracy at the higher velocities (230+ fps).
