Ender3 MKS Gen-L Cover Cooling 5015 / TMC Version
Description
Hey guys, since all the board coolings here on Thingiverse for the mks gen-l are very deceptive, if 40mm 60mm or 80mm axial fans. I have unceremoniously drawn a very effective solution which gets the hottest motor driver cool on your mks gen-l. The 5015 radial fan with 24v is no louder than a good 40mm fan and yet it cools the motor driver far better off and keeps cool, which I easily synonymous with the last bit of performance from the printer, thanks to better engines and and some other modifications out can get. It fits perfectly to the board position from this adapter. Thanks for the designer for this nice design! MKS Gen L Adapter for Creality Ender-3 found on #Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2905916 If you have not used E1, it is recommended to stick a small strip of tape around it to improve the airflow. Have the lid extra so planned that you can occupy all slots. If you like my stuff, I would be very happy about likes. *update* ("MKS-Gen-L_Deckel_v.2.stl") On request, I have yet another version uploaded, which is 2mm higher and made slight changes inside the cooling tunnel, so you have more space for the plug of the display. Since I do not use a classic display on my Ender3, but rather a touch screen on my Raspberry, I did not notice the design of the lid. *update* ("MKS-Gen-L_Deckel_v.3.stl") Since I was a little bored, I've made a little more space, especially for those who want to include SPI, Vmot or Uart cable. The air duct is so on and the exhaust air comes out even better, through the new slots. The diverter tunnel is built so that the first stepper slot can not be occupied. If interested, please short info and I adapt it, that all slots can be used.
