FrSky XM+ Heli Boom case.
Description
This is a tail boom mount for a FrSky XM+ receiver. It is designed specifically for the Trex 500 however it should fit any heli boom but with a minor gap. I will be making another one for the Trex 550 and will post when that is complete. I designed this with a 3D printed antenna tube in mind https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:575902 but scaled up by 3% however it should be able to use any antenna tube if glued in. I am currently running one of these on my own 550 and it is very secure and works great. The whole assembly with the lid is zip tied to the boom with some basic double sided tape between the boom and the case to keep it from slipping. The notches in the lid are sized to fit most zip ties.
