Replacement Crank for Cranky the Crane

We got Cranky the Crane years ago in a big bunch of used wooden train parts. It was clearly well used when we got it, but I've been continually amazed with how well it is put together. It has lasted 10 years through 2 boys without any damage. My third is a terror and a byword for toys though. If I thought it was unbreakable, he proves me wrong. He managed to break both the cranks on the side. So, I designed these parts to replace it. I'm pretty happy with it. The axle/shaft part is a little tigher going onto the base than I'd like, but it works. I'm a little concerned that the teeth that mate the axle/shaft with the crank will come apart, but I like the challenge of figuring out how to make a part work without supports. I considered printing it on it's side, but then the head would be smaller and I just didn't think it would look as good. This way, however, I also got to print it in two colors, which looks pretty neat. This replacement also solves a long-standing problem I see with the original design: both cranks were indistinguishable from each other on the original even though they had different functions. Now I have different colors for each function: the blue one rotates cranky around and the yellow own raises and lowers the magnet. I attach the crank to the shaft using superglue. If it breaks, I may look into change the design to use a longer screw that can hold both pieces, but I really don't think he'll break this again... right?
