Hictop CR-10 X Linear Rail Upgrade
Description
The Hictop CR-10 is a loud printer, I have it in my room and it keeps me up at night. I decided that it was time to do an upgrade in the hopes that I could reduce the noise it was making. I created a hotend and fan mount that attaches to a linear rail. It was designed to fit the original equipment on the printer. This mount also requires an X endstop spaced that I included due to the thickness of the linear rail. Here is a link to the rail that I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0762MKQFD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also recommend buying an assortment of M3 screws. I added built in supports for the X spacer. This is so you do not have to have supports everywhere on the print if you choose to print both at the same time. Supporting the holes for the screws is not a great idea as the are very difficult to remove.
