Aquaclear Series HoB Filter Brake
Description
Continuing my fluval edge 6 gallon setup, I was concerned the diverter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3021785) wasn't providing adequate O2 exchange if I filled the tank up all the way. This brake slows water flow once it has exited the HoB filter, creating multiple streams of water into the tank and increasing the water's effective surface area for air exchange. The result is a significantly less turbulent tank with the majority of the water flow going straight down the back wall, to the bottom, and then out to the sides.
