This Is A Re-Design Of The Popular Diy Uhf Satcom Antenna Which Was Published Several Years Ago In The Special Interest Magazine Monitoring Times. The So Called „Mt Omni X-Wing“ Antenna Was Designed For A Fixed Setup. My Re-Design Is More Like The Commercial Antennas In Use By The Army. The Antenna Is Mounted Onto An Ordinary Camera Tripod, Instead Of A Fixed Mesh Ground Reflector. The Mesh Is Replaced By 6Mm Radials As Reflector. The Mounting Of The Two Dipoles Is Covered With A Printed Housing. The Housing Can Hold A Director Boom, If Someone Need It.
