Rough 'n' Ready Broadlink RM Pro Holder
Description
This is my take on a Broadlink holder. I knocked it up, very quickly, this morning, after my previous holder (by MNGNZ - thing: 2243225) broke. It was the third copy of his design that I'd printed, and they all broke in the same place. So I realised that, as much as I loved the minimalist design, it wasn't working for me. Whether that's a fault with my printer, or (more likely) the nut that operates it, is debateable. But as there was only one other design on Thingiverse - which wasn't suitable for my needs - I decided to whip up my own. I liked the single screw fixing of MNGNZ's design, so I started with that. Everything thereafter was designed from the ground up, without reference to the old one. After I printed it, I realised the vertical "tongue" was a little longer than I'd envisaged, and was visible behind the RM Pro. So I have reduced the length in the STL, even though I shan't be printing another unless the current one breaks. I printed it flat on the build surface, and used supports. This creates a very small (maybe two layers) support underneath - which you don't actually have to remove in practice.
