Travel hinged soap tray
Description
For many years I had a travel soap dish which I took with me on all my trips. It finally gave up the ghost, so I decided to make this replacement. It has large holes to allow for drainage and drying, and also to reduce the amount of plastic used and printing time. Choose either style and **print two copies of the same file**. You're going to have a hard time assembling it if you print one of each. I prefer the snap-together version (A), but it's tricky to get it to work well. The other version (B) is intended for use with 1.75mm filament as the hinge. Heat up a piece of metal (I've used a putty knife and a heat gun) and press it to one end of the filament until it widens and flattens to your liking. Then put the piece through the holes and carefully flatten the other end, hopefully without melting anything else in the process. I recommend using two pieces - one for each side - but you can use just one long piece if you prefer. Fair warning, I haven't actually printed that version, so if anyone does make it, please share so I know it prints okay. To close, just swing it shut. To open, press lightly on the front opposite each of the clips and pull.
