RamjetX Sim Dash TM1638 2016 'edition
Description
Hi Internet sim racers.... on request about some of my older Youtube videos... I've dug up the old STL's from my SimDash V5... updated it to include the pro micro mount and flash uploaded them all to thingiverse. I've ran through the slicer layers and they appear okay, but you know what it's like when you're digging up old files you'd worked on years ago and trying to remember what state they were in. Anyway, this fits the TM1638 modules. I recommend Sim Hub to go with it.... top developer! It prints with a front, middle and back sections; This was to avoid infill and maintain surface skin quality back in the day. The middle has the pro micro mount embedded in it. The back has a DB9 socket ready to mount up for a pedal adaptor or shifter etc... go nuts with that. The front has button fingers to maintain the ability to operate the buttons on the TM1638 board. Your success will come down to your print settings and quality of your machine. I didn't have much issue but the button fingers did need a little massaging with an exacto knife post print. Have a play. I have a version without the buttons too... but I hate going back to sketchup where I design this before Fusion360. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enu4r55qY6Y
