"Bottle Top Shroud" for 55mm Spindle

"Bottle Top Shroud" for 55mm Spindle

Description

I'm cutting carbon fiber underwater, and needed a shroud to keep the polluted liquids from spilling everywhere. I've seen [MrGibbon's shroud](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2302994) and thought that it was a very ingenious idea, so I've adapted the concept to my **55mm spindle** and used the [PCO1881 specs](https://www.bevtech.org/assets/Committees/Packaging-Technology/20/3784253-20.pdf) - found through [this blog article](http://www.imajeenyus.com/mechanical/20120508_bottle_top_threads/index.shtml) - for the threading. The fit is deliberately sluggish to avoid damaging the flange with repeated insert-remove cycles: this model is meant to stay attached to your spindle, and when fully screwing in the bottle's top it will tighten itself against the threads. --- [OnShape document source](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/f478af191749f25433082645/w/d594c0540b02185739d704dd/e/4e634806b586e1ee08c03ecb)
