Editing Dial
Description
*Please post any makes!* Editing dial for premiere, after effects etc. Uses an arduino pro micro and a rotary encoder to send keyboard keystrokes to the computer via USB. Code can be reprogrammed to do whatever you want, if it's not something super specific to you though, please post a link so other users can download your code. *Print Settings* Print in whatever orientation is best, I printed the body how it fits onto the model so that there is no roughness from support on the visible face. I reccomend a low-ish density for the knob, as it makes it easier to hammer it onto the rotary encoder if it is too small. Support is needed for the body, everything else should be fine without. *Parts needed* Arduino pro micro (Or another board capable of keyboard inputs): https://www.amazon.co.uk/KOOKYE-ATmega32U4-arduino-Leonardo-ATmega328/dp/B019SXN84E/ref=sr_1_12?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1537386461&sr=1-12&keywords=arduino+micro (probably cheaper elsewhere) Rotary Encoder: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AZDelivery-040-Drehwinkelgeber-Rotary-Encoder-Arduino/dp/B079H3C98M/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1537386535&sr=1-6&keywords=rotary+encoder *Code* https://github.com/laptopgeek/Edit-Dial Currently has a file for premiere pro editing (Left-right arrow, also does CTRL+K when pushbutton is pressed) and one for generic scrolling (Up arrow-Down arrow, mouse left click when pushbutton is pressed) https://youtu.be/hxkwEQE1U70 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5HBbAyMNws&feature=youtu.be
