VW / Skoda / Seat Armrest Clip
Description
It seems that the centre console armrest clip is a common part that fails. This model works great, nice and snug fit with no rattle. I've added a second spring holder location in case the spring ever needs to be mounted on the other side. The tabs on top are also short enough so that minimal bending of the plastic is needed to install it (prevents damage while installing). Print vertically with supports (clip arms in a horizontal orientation). This will ensure that the print layers are oriented along the length of the clip arms preventing layer separation during installation. Since the clip will be installed in a car where high heat may be an issue print in PETG, ABS, Nylon or other high deflection temp filament. I have had good results with CCTREE PETG in > 45 degree C car interior temps. I simply spray painted mine in textured black with a clear matte final coat.
