British Army Osprey 4 & Virtus front and back armor plate

British Army Osprey 4 & Virtus front and back armor plate

Description

Hi there: When I received my Osprey 4 armor carrier I found it hard to find a plate to put in it and the general plates are miles away from suitable for the vast. And this is the reason of making this model of the plates to print out for war-game usage. This is a non-accurate model of the front and back armor plate for the British Army Osprey 4 armor carrier in 1:1 life size. The whole model is made based totally on the two pictures of the real plate I found on the internet, there may be distortion and mistakes due to the measuring or the angel or light of the picture when it is taken. Also, as shown in the actual picture of the training plate in orange, there are multiple curve on the whole surface of the plate and I found it too complicated and I am not talent enough to make all the curves. So the shape of the model is totally not as the actual plate. I haven't print these yet as I am trying to make it as accurate as possible. If you have the real plate on your hand and are capable of 3D scanning and upload them then that would be great, or if you had mastered 3D modeling feel free to modify my file. side plates are 21cm*16cm and I had made my dummy plate with eva foam and I suggest this solution as it is a lot easier (if only for war-game use). It is not cut for printing yet and it had to be cut before printing as it is too big for most of the printers.
