HotendCoolerNozzle for the Renkforce RF100
Description
With this design my goal was to use a 50mm radial fan to cool the print, by using only the existing mounting points on the printers hotend and without changing anything else. So all you have to do is taking the metal cover plate of the hotend off and fasten the mounting frame with the two screws instead. To push the nozzle on the fan, you have to cut off just a little pin of the fans case exhaust and then it fits in the nozzle. After that you can fasten the fan to the mounting frame with two M3x20 screws. You can adjust the angle of the nozzle a little bit by changing the position of the mounting frame. So far the center of the nozzles ring doesn't fit a hundred percent to the extruders nozzle but it works quite good anyway. (Maybe in future I'll fix this by adjusting the design.) Besides the printed parts you need: 2xM3x20mm screws, a 50mm radial fan, (like this one https://www.ebay.de/itm/Geblaselufter-50mm-USB-LUFTER-Blower-Cooling-Fan-Slient-DC-5V-50x50x15mm-5015S/322340383712?hash=item4b0cfbebe0:g:3BgAAOSw-89ZUhcU:rk:3:pf:0) (in my case I used a usb powered fan) a usb cable and a usb power supply. Additionally I used some of the "chewing gum like" adhesive to prevent vibrations and keep parts in place.
