OCD Logitech C270 3030 Extrusion Camera Mount

OCD Logitech C270 3030 Extrusion Camera Mount

Description

EDIT 10/17/18 - I added a new lower mount that extends the arm out 30mm to move it away from the base. I also made the USB clips a bit taller to hold the cable better. I also recommend printing another set of inside arms and outside arms so you have a total of 5 sections before the camera. Hello, Here is my version of a stable and secure camera mount that works on any 3030 channel but was made for my Zaribo Prusa MK2. It has full movement on the base to swivel, 3 sets of arms to get the right height or distance (can go over the bed for small prints!), a wrist swivel which allows turning the camera if need be. You will need to have 9 - 3mm x 10mm Screws and 9 - 3mm washers, one 24mm cap screw (unless you mod it for your tastes), and an M6 x 14mm just like the ones used on a Zaribo/Haribo frame. You will also need the nutsert to mount it in the frame rails. I used and highly recommend that you tap the threads with a 3mm tap. You can use as is but this makes life a lot easier for assembly. The camera housing and lens adapter comes from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3081838 I remixed the lens adapter on this and it can be found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3087454 Here is the lens on Amazon https://aax-us-east.amazon-adsystem.com/x/c/Qq2rf8qQ2pWG5Wk5bGF3OdYAAAFmF7yXbQEAAAFKAYGpFEs/https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074TGMFD3/ref=as_at/?creativeASIN=B074TGMFD3&linkCode=w61&imprToken=Wjk5iw0Xu3KMb2ocooqUBQ&slotNum=0&ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=tv-auto-20 All the joints are tight. There are two clips (one per arm) that secure the cable for the USB as it travels down the frame. I have added all the STEP files for each part as well so go wild with base mods and whatnot. There is also an STL that has all the parts ready to be printed. Let me see if you use it!!! This mount is an original design and has not been made from any other existing model. Thanks! Jon
