Tevo Tornado Z-axis Damper Bearing

Tevo Tornado Z-axis Damper Bearing

Description

This is an anti-vibration replacement for the stock Tevo Tornado upper z-axis threaded rod bearing. Take off the original, replace it with this and (in theory) you may see less "ghosting" on your machine. This should also fit the Creality CR-10 since the Tevo is a clone, but I haven't taken measurements and can't guarantee it. Print instructions, sleeve design: Print the _pblock and _sleeve files from ABS, PLA, or whatever stiff plastic you want. I would use 1.6 mm walls and at least 1.0 to 1.2mm top/bottom layers. No supports necessary. Print the _pblock file with the ring face down on the bed and it should print fine. Print the _dbearing_with_bushing file from TPU or ninjaflex... something like that. Figure out your own settings. Print instructions, no-sleeve design: If you only want to do the two-piece design, just don't print the sleeve, and then print the _dbearing_no_sleeve file from TPU or ninjaflex. *NOTE: I used Sainsmart TPU... it's a little on the stiff side but it works well in this application. Ninjaflex may be too soft... not sure since I don't have any and have never printed with it.
