Tabletop Poster or Photo Stand - foldable
Description
This is a foldable poster stand I made for a table top foam core add that the printers had messed up the stand. This one folds flat when not in use, and it folds out simply and locks when in use. Print as in the image. The posterhinge.stl is a two piece part, it is printed together. The lockplate.stl and retentionring.stl are separate parts. This needs minimal supports as shown in my screen shot. Use a strip of double sided tape down the vertical back of the thin straight section, make sure to align it to a vertical line on the back of your poster. It is made so that it leans back 5° when standing so do not use the bottom as reference for position. this was designed large to print on the CR-10 (12" square build plate) it can be scaled bigger or a bit smaller, but if going smaller test your tolerances on the hinged areas. hope you like it! and if you do please show your make photos!
