Velbon Tripod Plate (compatible models in summary)
Description
This is a replacement mount plate for a Velbon tripod. The model I'm using this plate on is a CX-440, but according to Amazon this style mount is also compatible with the following models: QB-4LC, Velbon 400, Velbon 5000, CX-430, DF-10ML, DF-40, T-3500 and Videomate 400. The alterations I made to iocon's design were done to make the plate work with a 1/4 in-20 x 1 in stainless steel combo-head machine screw. 1. That's what I had on hand, and 2. They're easier to find at any random hardware store compared to the tiny screws made for tripods.
