Pi camera mount and drag chain for Prusa MK2S
Description
Pi camera mount and Drag Chain for Prusa i3 MK2S. You need to print two drag chains and attach them together. I made the dragchain. The bed mount for the camera was one that I remixed from another thing. The camera enclosure and pi case I did not make but I listed the originals below. (EDIT 10/2/18) I added an object to "attach" the drag chain to the frame. It keeps the drag chain from walking around during a print (although that was never a deal). It has a channel that allows the camera cable to run under the printer frame and not get damaged and slots for the frame to fit into so it stays put. It works great with my setup because my printer sits on a big rubber pad. I would imagine that if I had the printer sitting on a hard, solid surface that piece may act as a fulcrum and cause the printer to rock back and forth on it. I recommend setting the printer on a pad like this, it makes the printer super quiet :) This is the rubber mat my printer sits on: https://www.amazon.com/We-Sell-Mats-Interlocking-Anti-Fatigue/dp/B012OON790/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1538536188&sr=8-19&keywords=gym+floor The camera case and the bed arm are printed in PETG. Everything else is printed in PLA. The bed mount for the camera is probably the only thing that needs to be printed out of PETG just because of the heat that the bed puts off. I used a 1 meter long pi camera cable from adafruit -- https://www.adafruit.com/product/2143 The arm that attaches the camera to the bed I remixed from this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2127887 I added a mount for the drag chain and extended the arm a little so the camera case wouldn't hit the extruder stepper. The camera case I used is: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2352964 The Raspberry Pi 3 case I used is: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2484396
