Silly Circuit Playground Express Turkey
Description
I wanted to incorporate the Adafruit Circuit Playground Express into some Thanksgiving decorations. So I modified and mixed these two things together. I programmed the controller in CircuitPython to glow red and randomly make turkey "Purring" noises. Then to "Gobble" and flash four times when tapped or shook. I added a Video. Unfortunately the built in speaker isn't very loud. I also had to cut open the USB port for troubleshooting after the program started crashing randomly. I am using this microcontroller from Adafruit.com and battery from Amazon.ca https://www.adafruit.com/product/3333 http://a.co/d/fbHh31f This is printed in four parts and then glued together. The Rock base holds the rechargeable battery. Note: I had a lot of problems with programming this CPX, which was due to the Python Library from Adafruit, Mu Editor and slow technical support from their forum. In the Video I had to cut open the 3D print to get to the USB port to troubleshoot a totally random memory allocation error. :(
