Powerstrip leg grip
Description
Astronomy telescope mounts typically require several power supplies bricks to power cameras, the mount, strip heaters etc. The power strip is typically left on the ground with a tangle of wires which can cause a tripping hazard in the dark. This grip allows a 6 position power strip sold by Lowe's to be snapped onto a 2 inch diameter tripod leg such as on the EXOS II mount sold by Explore Scientific. Two of these adapters brackets are needed. These brackets grip the power strip case and a small cylinder pokes into the keyhole feature on the power strip to lock the adapter in place. No screws needed. Lowe's power strip model number is 615219. This has not been tested on any other power strips.
