Exterior Walls for Code & Go(tm) Robot Mouse Activity Set
Description
My 5-year-old son bought a Code & Go(tm) Robot Mouse Activity Set by Learning Resources with his birthday money. He loves it (and I love that he's learning to code), but the movements aren't 100% accurate and the motion tolerance stack with each move. The Activity Set includes walls for the interfaces between floor tiles, but there are no walls for the exterior edges of the tiles. The mouse occasionally falls off edge of the floor tiles and, because he sets it up on a table, it's nearly fallen off the table several times. I designed these simple, exterior walls to prevent the mouse from falling, to reduce the tolerance stacking, and to help guide the programmable mouse to the cheese. The walls have tabs on one side and slots on the other, so they can connect to any side of the floor tiles.
