LACROIX MOTOR MOUNT BUMPER by LAND-SURF.com
Description
These bumpers fit the Lacroix e-board. The motor mounts on the Lacroix can get scuffed up easily from either standing it on the end or even when picking up the nose of the board too high. These protect the mounts from dings and dents, and provide a non-slip surface for the board to rest on when stood up against a wall. They also prevent damage to in the household furniture and walls if the board is backed up into anything accidentally. They fit without any tape or glue or screws...and simply grip onto the back of the mount. You can still move the motor backwards without issue, in order to fit the 16T pinion for example (ie, adjusting tension in the belts). These are also available to order from Land-Surf.com in multiple colors, if you don't want to print your own. Each side is identical, so simply print two of these for your board. Print in any TPU, with the following settings: .2 mm layer height 30 mm/s or slower .8 mm nozzle or smaller Orient the model as shown in the screenshot from Simplify3d above (inner ridge pointing up...the orange model). You MUST print these with supports. Use TPU. Then rip it out using needle nose pliers when it's done printing, and clean up anything else with a blade. Enjoy and have fun!
