FPV Drone (5-6inch Quadcopter)

FPV Drone (5-6inch Quadcopter)

Description

This interesting and sleek looking design has gone through many iterations so please excuse the messy files. There are two important things to be careful for. the first is that there are two types of arms and side plates; the offset and the flat. the offset gives more room inside the drone for the internals such as wires, PDB, control board, ESC and wiring. The flat system gives less room but has a better look. If smaller ESCs are used such as the Turnigy MultiStar 30A BLHeli-S the ESCs will fit inside the arms allowing for better cooling, more room in the drone and a great look. The second thing is that there are two FPV camera mounting plates. Both use vibration damping balls (6mm holes) this can be mounted inside or above the drone. The mounts have a wide spacing and narrow spacing which will not fit if they do not match. There are two premade camera mount options. of for a lens mounted system for smaller integrated cams and a three screw mounting system (for runcam like cameras). It is an excellent flyer and is very sturdy and stiff. It can suffer from cracked plates on hard crashes, however, these are simple to replace. I have used a Naze32 with a PDB and I have used an OmnibusF4SD without any PDB or externally mounted PDB. I use 2206 motors at 2600KV. It is designed for 5inch props, however, may be able to fit 6inch props as well. I hope you enjoy the drone as much as I do
